This place is very old .Infact this place was ruled by the great King's like Krishnadevaraiah,Hakka,Bukka.Once you step into this place you feel like y ou are in the 12t century or so.. This place is none other than HAMPI,this place is just 2 hours from the city Bellary, Which is 8 hours journey from bus or train from Bangalore (Karnataka) India. Hampi is known for its number of old monuments, tombs, many religious structures. This place Hampi I visited with my friends in the month of july. But December is the best time to visit Hampi and also Hospet.Hospet is another city which is half an hour from Hampi is awesome place Tungabhadra dam is here itself in Hospet.Here are some of the snaps which i took in Hampi and Hospet.

Hastsoff to the great architecture.This place is called "Musical pillars Mantapa". Here if u beat the stone pillars you can hear music coming from these stone pillars thats the greatness of this pillars so called musical pillars,Infact during king's rule, music was playing from these pillars!!
This is a huge Shivalingam in Hampi.Here it is believed that if we perform pooja with the water down the Lingam our needs will be fulfilled.This Lingam is surrounded by water.As you can see in the snap.
This huge structure is "Lakshmi Narasimha" idol located in Hampi.This is a awesome architecture showing the Narasimha avathar.Lakshmi devi is missing.Lakshmi's idol was on the Narasimha's lap.During the British's ru le in India it was taken away.
This is yet another wonderful bulding showing the greatness n creativity of the architecture of olden days.This building is called "Lotus Mahal", if this building is seen from the top view it appears to be like a Lotus flower!!!.

This is "Virupaksha" temple in Hampi, this temple is very old. The great King Krishnadevaraiah use to perform pooja daily in this temple.In this temple thier is one small hole inside one room, it is a dark room, during day time the sunrays falls on the gopuram of the temple and the shadow falls on the wall inside the dark room, rays going throug that small hole and shadow is inverted on the wall. This is the greatness of the architecture in Hampi.
This is Elephant's stable in Hampi, you have seen horse stable, but this is the first elephant's stable Iam seeing.
This two rocks are believed to be two sister's younger and elder sister's. Infact the name of this two rocks in kannada is "Akka Thangi" betta.
